The Dallas Cowboys have become one of my new obsessions after Tuesday evening. They mixed Electro - Pop with Emo rock, sampling some of the funniest voice memos and recordings such as the beginning of ‘That’s not his sister... THAT’S HIS EX’ where they gave God’s advice about the meaning of life in unison whilst bounding across the stage.
do i have a crush on them? yes, yes i do.
Their music crosses boundaries between hyper pop and techno- rock , particularly within songs such as ‘Don’t Hug Me - I’m Scared You’ll Leave.’ and ‘Floss Your Heart out Bitch’, which happened to be one of my favourites they performed.
The duo was followed by the headline act Mitsubishi Suicide, who matched the electric atmosphere created by the Dallas Cowbvoys and managed to find a beautiful middle ground between some of the most instense mosh pits of my life and beautiful sing along emotional moments.
